For decades, the firefighter benevolent fund has been a vital part of the community, demonstrating firefighters’ deep involvement and commitment. The fund has donated close to $1,000,000 to CHEO and actively supports the Ottawa Heart Institute. It is continuously seeking other worthwhile causes to support in its mission to give back to the community.
