Singer, Songwriter – ADELINE

ADELINE is a French-native singer-songwriter, topliner and musician based in Montreal, with a style described as pop with a touch of folk and soul. Her musical and lyrical inspirations range from powerful pop alike Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Kygo & Kasey Musgraves to smoother guitar-pop resembling Ed Sheeran, John Mayer & Patrick Droney.

Supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and FACTOR, her projects continue to garner momentum and recognition.

“Like It That Way” (2022) marked a strong debut, the EP reaching over 200,000 collective streams & over 130,000 views on Youtube.

The “modern electro-pop production” neared the Top 40 on the MediaBase US Radio Charts, garnering over 30K monthly listeners.

The title track single revealed ADELINE’s lighthearted and playful side, as well as her extravagant and daring creativity.

“Wanted Man” (2023) filled with alt-rock and edgy influences portrayed a novel side of her craft. The single, well on its way to top her previous achievements, eloquently displayed her agility and ease with different genres but also her love for variety & sonic exploration.

As a well-rounded and involved artist, ADELINE also pursues her visions from a visual perspective, taking lead in the creative direction for each visual content piece, marketing asset and music video.

Working alongside renowned collaborators: Ryan Stewart (Carly Rae Jepsen, Shawn Desman), Zak Lloyd (Taylor Swift, Charli XCX), Lucas Liberatore (Rêve, Banx & Ranx, Sarahmée), DJ Fragancia (Bad Bunny, Don Omar) & Bobby John (Serena Rider, Bobby Bazini) ADELINE is currently working on her sophomore project which will explore themes of self-love, empowerment, loss, love, celebration and mental health.

ADELINE’s work in francophone pop has also been well recognized in the province with “Soleil Levant” (2020), ranking in the Top 200 ADISQ charts, the ICIMusique Catalogue for 10 weeks post-release & achieving radio airplay at a national level.

Her multicultural background, being raised in Tokyo, Geneva, Singapore, Copenhagen, and Montreal, is a foundational part of her story & identity, evident in her curiosity and open-minded approach to her artistry.

Born from classical musician parents, the songstress was exposed to music from an early age learning the flute, piano, voice, and the acoustic guitar. Singing in several choirs and solo performances in her childhood & teens for various musical events, conferences and musical theatre performances, she began songwriting by the age of thirteen.
